We have all been there. You wake up in the morning feeling tired and unmotivated to work. You go through your day without much enthusiasm or drive. The question is, how do you stay motivated and inspired? Dyson inquired. “I try to make a list of what I need to do for the day – I try to set a goal for myself – I take time out of my day, to do things that make me happy.”

Dyson has been making music since he was 11, and since then he tried to mix his hobbies of football with the fine tunes he managed to produce. Unclear of whether he wanted to take his music career seriously, Dyson kept doing small gigs, and finally broke onto the scene with a bang. Still young, full of vigor, and with lots of learning to do, Dyson has come a long way, from the strong-willed & determined child, to stages near and far to show people his sound.

“I’ve grown, I’ve grown a lot. And not just as a person, I’ve developed my sound too, and it’s much easier and fun finding new tunes now. I love what I do, man.” Dyson said joyfully, and Dyson must know, we love what you do as well, that’s why you were chosen for our breakout magazine!

When asked about her thoughts on the competition, Miss Trinnie remarked, “To stand out from the competition, it is important to have a unique perspective, and an original voice. Anderson T Hall does comedy rap, and can, without a doubt, make you wet your pants with laughter, and it’s no exaggeration. He’s a mentor, and his witty remarks are one of a kind, and there is a hint of genius under every short limerick or joke he tells. Curious about his skills, we inquired how Anderson learned to become a crowd-favorite artist in a short time.

“It comes naturally to me, man; nothing is easier for me than making people laugh and enjoying the moments that follow,” he said. “Sometimes you can tell that your joke made someone’s day or fixed their mood, so it’s gratifying.”

He then continued, “This doesn’t mean that I don’t have to work hard. My efforts to make each meme or short video a masterclass, pushes me beyond my limits, and allows me to explore ideas that were otherwise invisible”. Please know that you were handpicked by God Himself, because more than a few people turned us away immediately, and even told us “Come back once you get your followers up”, you talking about heartbroken smh 🤦🏽‍♀️… I was devastated, but I didn’t give up #GodSpeed 💛🅿️🙏😇💙

To be featured in DMV Stand Up – We Winning… XXL Issa Takeover, should mean more to all of us, then having our pictures and bio in our school yearbooks. Yes, that’s a significant and sentimental point in everyone’s life, quite naturally. But, I want us to remember this, as if we made it on one of the most infamous talk shows, or was contacted by one of the biggest bloggers, for an interview, or even more phenomenal; we made it to the BET Awards and the red carpet.
