Above all; this entire endeavor evolved with you & your talent in mind & at the forefront.
It’s really hard to break into the main stream industry & sometimes talented Kings & Queens simply give up; merely due to exhaustion, frustration, doubt & dismay. So, we want to do everything in our power to change that. It’s time out, for only a select few being noticed & getting chosen… EVERYBODY IS WELCOME with us & if we all work together & play our cards right, we’ll receive the same accolades as those who’ve gone on before us.
My intentions are for us to get a piece of the pie & enjoy the same things that they do (i.e., Verzuz – but we’ll call ours Too lit 🔥Too quit 🚫, Reality TV – I don’t have a particular name for it in mind yet , but we’ll collectively figure that out & Touring , I fah sho fah sho want to see ALL of you on stage; selling out arenas, but we MUST get on one accord #staywoke #staytuned #GodSpeed #millionairemindset

The wait is over, for us to have to wish upon a star, to be featured in the world renowned XXL Freshman magazine. We have some very talented & gifted Kings & Queens throughout the city, & on the outskirts (Maryland & Virginia), & Passion intends to make sure that you’re recognized, acknowledged & given the same respect & Praise as any other artists, that have gone on before you.
DMV Stand Up – We Winning, will carefully use the most famous & sought after platforms on IG, such as Keys2thacity_, DMV_Scoophall, DMV_Scoop, DMV.411, DMV_Culture, DMVHoodzandNewz, Hoodzndnewzmedia, Events DC, DMVUpNextTV301, DMVUpNext, DJ Reddz, The Crank Corner, DC Stamped, DC Vybe, and WPGC, to find talent, so that we can showcase & highlight our stars; putting emphasis on their up & coming masterpieces (singles, EPs, mixtapes or albums), & also we’ll be giving credit, where credit’s due, for any & all projects already released.
To add, we have some really good comedians, models, clothing brands & dancers in the DMV area, & they’ll be applauded as well! All of this is being done, in an effort to curve & deter the pointless disturbing violence, that’s going on in our city & the surrounding areas, it’s heartbreaking, uncalled for & Prayerfully, DMV Stand Up – We Winning will point our brothers & sisters in a different direction. Once they see their counterparts getting a shout out in our monthly memorabilia, it’ll inspire & encourage them to really focus on & perfect their craft/niche, so that they’ll be next up; in the celebrity realm.
Another reason that DMV Stand Up -We Winning exists, is because of how hard the industry makes it, for our talented & gifted individuals to break through on the scene, & have a chance to become millionaires; when they’re just as good or perhaps better, than those who have already reached the top. Our aim is for our magazine to reach the masses & for our phones to ring off the hook, from talent scouts all around the world, & we can finally say “Mama, look at me… I made it… Your baby is on TV” or the big stage, whichever comes first.
With all that said, remember this, YOU determine whether or not you’ll get your chance at, first being featured in our city magazine, that has the potential for growth in your life. Then, eventually move on to bigger & better things. In addition, know that you can use this opportunity for your resume, EPK, portfolio & social media verification. Now, start today, becoming the BEST version of you, that you can be.
Don’t allow your dreams to pass you by, your sky has no limits, you can do anything you want to do, as long as you have pure determination & dedication 🅿️eriod. I’m actually a living witness! Who would’ve ever thought crazy ass Passion would be living her best life, as a retired author & entrepreneur? If you would have asked those who knew me years ago, they would have assumed I’d be dead or doing life by now. However, me & God changed that narrative & the entire course of my life; & so can YOU.
