The hip-hop game is changing, and quickly. New rappers are making their mark, and veterans find new ways to stay relevant. It’s an exciting time to be a hip-hop fan. Lil Tayy said. “I just hope I can add to the pleasures of those hip hop fans.”

“We live in a world built on the backs of rappers. I don’t mean that in a derogatory way, but rather in an authentic way. A world without rap, would be a world without meaning, a world without passion, a world without color.” Then he added, “For decades, rap has been a source of inspiration for millions of people, a way to say things that otherwise wouldn’t have been able to be said.”

Lil Tayy wants to become an inspiration for everyone in the hood, that it’s possible to break free of the shackles, and get the taste of true individuality.

We have all been there. You wake up in the morning feeling tired and unmotivated to work. You go through your day without much enthusiasm or drive. The question is, how do you stay motivated and inspired? Dyson inquired. “I try to make a list of what I need to do for the day – I try to set a goal for myself – I take time out of my day, to do things that make me happy.”

Dyson has been making music since he was 11, and since then he tried to mix his hobbies of football with the fine tunes he managed to produce. Unclear of whether he wanted to take his music career seriously, Dyson kept doing small gigs, and finally broke onto the scene with a bang. Still young, full of vigor, and with lots of learning to do, Dyson has come a long way, from the strong-willed & determined child, to stages near and far to show people his sound.

“I’ve grown, I’ve grown a lot. And not just as a person, I’ve developed my sound too, and it’s much easier and fun finding new tunes now. I love what I do, man.” Dyson said joyfully, and Dyson must know, we love what you do as well, that’s why you were chosen for our breakout magazine!

Surely, everyone showcased in our city magazine will buy one, and Prayerfully, you’ll go all out, and buy a couple; for friends and family members, to have as memorabilia. To be featured in DMV Stand Up – We Winning… XXL Issa Takeover, should mean more to all of us, then having our pictures and bio in our school yearbooks. Yes, that’s a significant and sentimental point in everyone’s life, quite naturally. But, I want us to remember this, as if we made it on one of the most infamous talk shows, or was contacted by one of the biggest bloggers, for an interview, or even more phenomenal; we made it to the BET Awards and the red carpet.
