How do you begin again???

It’s been sooooo long since I’ve dated, and now I don’t have a clue how to even get started anew.

I was thinking about just remaining single, and continue to work, retire and eventually enjoy life… but I’m NO hermit crab, and this day to day loneliness is really getting to me SMH.

Then, I said I’ll start going out again, so that I can attract men. But, nowadays where do you even go, to be sure NOT to end up with the same type of men that’s been in my life grrrrrrrhhhhhhh.

  1. First, of all think l think you should pray and ask God to lead you to the right place so that you will be at the right location to be found by the right person that God brings to you at His divine timing.

My prayer is that God will place me at the right place to be found by the person that He specifically has just for me. As long as l pray that, then l know that will bring me and the individual that God has ordained for my life directly into contact with one another; even if there are others around, the individual will not be distracted by them because he will be sent on an assignment by God, and his focus will be on me.

  2. Just get out there and be yourself. Like attracts like. You don’t have to go to any skanky place. If you pray about it, you won’t have to do a thing besides be available. The Most High is really good at matchmaking. πŸ˜‰

    1. Nowadays where do you go solo? And not look crazy to everybody watching you ALL alone at a restaurant or any other place where I’d expect to meet a GOOD man. Partying would deftly be a place to find somebody, but I’m not sure I want that lifestyle all over again.

      1. Join a club or volunteer group that interests you. Hang out at the library. Go to a seminar or a class. Attend an evangelistic series. Join the gym. Think of all the places where you and another decent person may want to hang out and enjoy a little time.

  3. Just get out and meet people – any people – male or female, young or old… You’ll get a much better feel for the people you want to spend time with and the right person will appear amongst them somewhere πŸ™‚

  4. Be yourself. It’ll be the best solution in the end. If they don’t like you for who you really are, let them walk.
