I’m homeless, and nobody cares but God… Neeeeeevvvveeerr seen this day coming!!!

I had to steal this from my niece’s Facebook wall: “If someone sticks by your side through your worst times, they’re the ones who deserve to be with you through your BEST times.”

That’s sooooooo true and exactly what I needed to hear today. One of my daughters didn’t feel it necessary to come by for my visit to DC and I haven’t seen her or my granddaughter in a long time SMH.

My son said maybe three words to me, then went on about his life… Geeeesssssshhhhh!!! You talking bout tears… This thing is horrible.

My middle daughter said the most to me and ALL four of her babies brought out a great big ole smile on my face.

My oldest daughter came out to get her money and went on back to doing what she was doing… Wow this is like overkill!!!

I really looked forward to this day for about a week, thinking today would be the day we’d all make amends. But, I guess they’re better off without me. So, I’ll leave them be. I gotta come up once a month to grocery shop and I’ll just Pray each time that it eventually gets easier, and I don’t have to drive back so sad.

How in the world is this in God’s plan, not that I’m questioning His authority. But, I have no clue what in the world is going on, I can’t imagine life with absolutely Nooooooo family SMH… This can’t be real, and I Neeeeeevvvveeerr dreamed of being a parent who abandoned her children. But what do I do???

  1. Did you know that sometimes we can put our hands in the way trying to fix what the Most High is allowing to happen? He is allowing it you know? Their attitudes and your own, however, the only attitude within your power to change is yours. You know that right?

If you didn’t know it, the scriptures tell us to ‘take joy’ when these various trials come, because the testing of our belief produces [in us] patience, perseverance and so forth (See James 1). So if you have been praying for patience stop that. because that you have already, that is. the measure is being worked out.

Just know, that there is no trial, no test that will overtake you but such as is a common to man, but the Most High is faithful [in that] he will not allow the testing above that you are able to bear, but will along with the trial provide an escape and a way out of that so that you will be able to stand up during it. (1 Corinthians 10:13).

  2. Oh my beautiful soul ❤ That was really hard for me to take in. I have no idea why they behaved in such a manner. But in the end, they’re your children. That relation will always be there, no matter what. Just keep your calm and have faith ❤ You’ve got immense energy and this is just one of God’s several tests. Make sure you come out of this as a victor ❤ My prayers are always with you ❤

  3. I have been depressed and thinking about suicide before, but not in your shoes. I pray that God will bring you some kind of relief and hope. Seek Him out daily, pray, tell Him how it feels although He knows, pour your heart out to Him, He will hear you! I am praying for you. Take good care of yourself.

  4. We have to put our total trust in God and know that He is working in our lives and their as well. Sometimes our walk feels lonely because we want restored relationships with family members but it takes time, to change a heart, for walls to come down..for healing… We pray, trust and be patient…

  5. Never forget that you are not alone. God is with you – by your side. Try not to dwell on the negatives right now it will only make you feel worse. Instead, try and find someone else – possibly through a church or even the Salvation Army – someone else to help. It will lift you and them.

      1. Do you live in DC? I lived up there for many years and would love to recommend a church family. I know a family that has people of all different colors and all different social classes. And all they’re trying to do is help each other love God through thick and thin. You would be welcomed with open arms.

      1. And it will be like that again i hope for you. Do you think that some of your children are struggling to come to terms with what your going through now? Or is there more to the reason why your no longer close?x

        1. It just seems like they don’t CARE… They’re just going on with their lives. I’d be frantic if it were one of them; then too, it’d never be one of them homeless, and I got a place, because we’d be ALL bunking together… Overcrowded and ALL!!!
